This dental practice is amazing! The office, all the staff and Dentist are wonderful and amazing! Take it from a person that does not like to go to the dentist, at all! I have had to have a lot of work and never have had a bad experience at all.
The highest quality of care that one can expect. Friendly staff who make you feel comfortable. I was highly impressed with how up to date the office is with high tech, quality treatments available. Comeaux Family Dental is the best choice you can make in The Woodlands for dental care for your family!
Dr. Stonestreet and his assistant were amazing. I'm not a big fan of anesthesia and they took info and helped me feel comfortable during the procedure. His assistant explained everything they were doing step my step. I really appreciated them being so attentive.

Dr. David Stonestreet grew up in McDonald, Ohio, and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio on a track and field scholarship. While at UTSA, he earned his degree in physics with honors and met his wife who was a student-athlete on the volleyball team. He went on to teach high school physics and coach the cross-country and soccer teams for five years before attending dental school at The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. During dental school, he served as a dental volunteer for Give Kids a Smile, Texas Mission of Mercy, and a mission trip to Guatemala. After graduating, he continued into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where he focused on using the latest dental techniques to care for patients with complex dental needs, including full mouth reconstruction, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. In his spare time, he still enjoys running but most of his time is spent outdoors with his wife, DeeDee, and three kids, Marilyn, Ben and Walt.
Dr. Ryan Comeaux earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Louisiana State University and then later his Dental Degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he has been recognized and honored for his research publications and presentations. Additionally, he’s completed advanced courses in implant placement and restorations from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is currently a member of the Spear Study Club. He’s received numerous awards for outstanding dental achievements both in Texas and nationwide.
Prior to opening his practice in The Woodlands, Dr. Comeaux lived and worked in Louisiana, where he was active in the Louisiana Dental Association and the Northlake Dental Association. Comeaux worked in and around the New Orleans area for a little more than five years in both a general/cosmetic dental office as well as a prosthodontist practice; the latter afforded him the opportunity to learn hands-on, advanced techniques in complicated crown, bridge, denture and implant cases.
Dr. Comeaux believes that dental care should be available to all, regardless of their circumstances. This passion led him to become involved with several non-profit organizations that provide free dental care to those in need, such as Interfaith Community Clinic, the Hope Dental Mission and The Micah Project. Dr. Comeaux has participated in mission trips to Mexico, Honduras and several impoverished areas of the United States, and he continues to support these organizations with his time and resources.
Local community is also important to Dr. Comeaux. He serves on the Admin Board of The Woodlands United Methodist Church and the Board of Directors for the AVM Research Foundation. He and his practice volunteer and donate to many worthwhile causes and organizations such as the Will Herndon Fund for Juvenile Batten Disease Research, the American Heart Association, the Duchene Muscular Dystrophy Association and many more — read more about how the organizations Dr. Comeaux and his practice support on our Community page.

Are you or your child needing orthodontic treatment but are hesitant about the idea of traditional metal braces? Look no further than Comeaux & Stonestreet Dental Group in The Woodlands and Benders Landing, where we offer Invisalign, a clear and convenient alternative to braces.
Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligners that gradually move your teeth into their desired positions. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, making them a great option for anyone who wants to straighten their teeth without drawing attention to their smile.
But Invisalign isn't just for adults - it's also an excellent option for kids and teens who may be self-conscious about wearing braces. Invisalign Teen is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of younger patients, with features like compliance indicators that let parents and dentists know if the aligners are being worn as directed.
One of the best things about Invisalign is its convenience. The aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, making it easy to maintain good oral hygiene during treatment. And because there are no brackets or wires to adjust, you'll spend less time in the dentist's chair for adjustments.
Invisalign is also an excellent option for adults who missed orthodontic treatment earlier. Many adults hesitate to get braces because of how they look, but with Invisalign, you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing. Plus, since the aligners are removable, you won't have to worry about changing your diet or lifestyle to accommodate braces.
At Comeaux & Stonestreet Dental Group, we are committed to providing our patients with the best possible orthodontic care. If you're interested in Invisalign or any other orthodontic treatment, we would happily schedule a consultation and discuss your options. Give us a call today to get started!
