Dr. David Stonestreet grew up in McDonald, Ohio, and attended The University of Texas at San Antonio on a track and field scholarship. While at UTSA, he earned his degree in physics with honors and met his wife who was a student-athlete on the volleyball team. He went on to teach high school physics and coach the cross-country and soccer teams for five years before attending dental school at The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. During dental school, he served as a dental volunteer for Give Kids a Smile, Texas Mission of Mercy, and a mission trip to Guatemala. After graduating, he continued into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where he focused on using the latest dental techniques to care for patients with complex dental needs, including full mouth reconstruction, implant and cosmetic dentistry. In his spare time, he still enjoys running but most of his time is spent outdoors with his wife, DeeDee, and two kids, Marilyn and Ben.
